Yatec Will Give 10% of Its Proceeds to the Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation
Yatec, the Louisiana-based developer of PC puzzle game
Enchanted Gardens and upcoming mind-teaser Brain Brain!, has announced
it will donate a portion of its proceeds from game sales through its
website, www.YatecGames.com, to commemorate the two-year anniversaries of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
Between
August 28 and December 31, 10% of Yatec's proceeds from sales of
Enchanted Gardens will be donated to the Louisiana Disaster Recovery
Foundation, an organization committed to supporting Louisiana's
economic rebirth and those affected by the 2005 hurricanes.
"As
a company founded as a result of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Yatec is
proud to assist the many still in need of support," said Ben Lewis,
Head of Marketing at Yatec. "Now players can help to rebuild Louisiana
while they have fun restoring the gardens in our game."
Enchanted
Gardens is a fun-for-all-ages puzzle game in which players match tiles
to grow grass and restore five beautiful gardens. The game combines a
captivating puzzle experience with a unique Garden Builder area where
players unlock decorations to customize their own gardens.
